As far as OD tones, this amp, in my experience and tastes, sounds great when you dial in enough gain to break up the tone a bit, any more than that, then the amp sounds like it’s being pushed too hard. But again, that’s just to my ears. It’s a clean, straightforward tube amp, so it loves pedals.

A very good amp – plenty of volume, good functionality range with the built-in chorus and reverb (both of which give good quality effects, and importantly no hiss through the chorus), and feels solidly built.
