A lot of guitar companies in the past used automotive paint. Spray paint works alright but you better use two to three cans and then at least a can or two of clear coat. Wet sanding is a must.

They are great for the price. I have played my Martinez S80 for almost 4 years now, and I love it. It is a guitar designed for intermediate players but I’ve found it to be relatively easy to play technically hard repertoire.
