I own a bunch of Godins, including 3 Seagull acoustics, 3 Godin electrics, 2 Seagull Merlin dulcimer and a Godin A8 mandolin and they’re all great instruments. I’ve generally found that, at least in Canada, they cannot be beat in terms of quality with respect to price.
