PS: You can play in the game with the guitar used in Guitar Hero. Easy: There are 5 kind of notes, but in this difficulty you should use only 3 (green, red and yellow). Another characteristic is that the notes come down slowly, so who has difficulty to play will have enough time to see the notes and try to hit them.
The Legacy guitars are great, they are comparable to Fender’s Squier at a fraction of the price! The guitar has a solid feel but does not make your back hurt after playing a while. The neck is smoothe and easy to play on (unlike most guitars that i have encontured at this price point).
The best alternative is Frets on Fire, which is both free and Open Source. Other great apps like Guitar Hero are osu! (Free, Open Source), Rocksmith (Paid), Clone Hero (Free) and FoFiX (Free, Open Source).
Now Cort’s are very well built, having features that represent good value for money. While Cort produce some cheap ‘getting started’ guitar packs like their Earth Pack that comes with a bag, strap, tuner, and picks – they also make quite a few models further up the range with good quality solid tops.
