The low end is tight and thick and the highs are bright and rounded with a good amount of mid range crunch. Mesa use to be known for the huge low end, and peavey and marshall was the awesome mid range crunch, but ENGL really combines the best of best qualities/characteristics needed for low end/higain sounds.
